I’ve been an iPhone user since the 3GS. So when the iPhone 16 Pro Max arrived, I was excited. I used it as my only phone for exactly 30 days in 2025. Here’s what actually surprised me — the good and the not-so-good — completely honest, no fanboy filter.

Final Verdict

If you love iOS, the 16 Pro Max is still the phone to buy in 2025.

It’s not revolutionary, but it’s the most refined iPhone ever. Battery and heat are improved (just not class-leading). Apple Intelligence is genuinely useful and will only get better. At Gzmato’s BLACK10 price of $971, it’s the smartest upgrade this Black Friday.

Keeping mine. No return this time.
